uvex, the award-winning UK market leader in safety equipment, will be exhibiting its latest pioneering products at Health & Safety 12 South at Sandown Park on Stand number 196.

Health and Safety Professionals will be impressed by the variety and premium quality of uvex’s range. The products are designed to provide protection to all vulnerable areas of the body including hands, eyes, feet and hearing, with style and panache, and are the result of continual innovation and new technological developments.

The hand protection range on show will include uvex’s new phynomic knitted safety gloves, which offer perfect fit, optimum functionality and absolute purity and are particularly suitable for wearers with skin allergies and a variety of applications including small component precision work.

Visitors to the uvex stand can also try the flexible uvex helix C3 and C5 gloves that both offer high levels of cut protection, are particularly comfortable with excellent dexterity, and transports heat and moisture away from the hand.

uvex’s safety eyewear is stylish and comfortable and is embraced by its wearers. The range on show includes the uvex pheos, boasting innovative design features such as its duo-spherical scratch-resistant and permanently-coated anti-fog lens, offering a wide field of unimpaired vision and optimum long-term visibility.

uvex’s leading-edge super fit spectacle and classic mask combination will also be featured. The uvex super fit is extremely lightweight without compromising on effectiveness, quality and not least comfort. As well as neatly dovetailing with uvex face masks, the uvex super fit is compatible with many other forms of PPE, including safety helmets.

Much of uvex’s sporty safety footwear, which can be used in a wide range of applications, features a comfortable, breathable, uvex 3D hydroflex® foam insole that provides the foot with exceptional, full-surface shock absorption, as well as groundbreaking climate control.

Finally, uvex’s hearing protection products are second to none.  Made by uvex’s subsidiary SwedSafe in Sweden, in a state-of-the-art manufacturing site with its own research and development department, products such as the uvex hi-com earplugs allow the wearer to hear warning signals while maintaining normal voice communication, will also be on show.

uvex is committed not only to protecting people, but also the environment, the climate and consumers by reducing energy consumption, using renewable energy sources and minimising water consumption.

uvex looks forward to welcoming visitors to Stand 196 at Health and Safety ’12 South at Sandown Park, Esher, on 28 and 29 February 2012.
