The risk of infections in working communities such as schools, offices, factories or indeed places like the Olympic venues, where large numbers of people come in close contact with each other, poses a real threat to health, hygiene and business. It has been estimated that European businesses lose hundreds of millions of pounds per year simply because of the common cold. Sick days mean direct costs in medical care, but also indirect costs in making alternative arrangements, or suffering missed opportunity.
Katrin has launched its new service model called Katrin Hygiene Consultancy. The service model includes inspection of customer premises, overall rating for the current condition of washrooms, suggestions for improvements as well as useful advice.
Katrin believes that Hygiene Consultancy inspections will help to overcome hygiene and health and safety issues by:
-Identifying and recommending ways of eliminating cross contamination
-Highlighting common sources of germs, such as dripping water and advising on avoidance
-Recommending how to best collect waste effectively so that germs cannot gather and hazards are not left on the floor.
Overall, implementation of the Katrin Hygiene Consultancy Program will help customers save costs, improve productivity, and motivate employees.
