Linde Connect: Trucks generate huge amounts of data that is able to provide an insight into their use, conditions and capabilities. Linde connect collects this data, processes it and presents it as meaningful and actionable insight, allowing fleet operators to run their fleets in a safer and efficient manner.
The Linde Connect hardware components connect your vehicles and databases using secure communication technology. The hardware collects vehicle and user data from sensors and control units and transmits it the customer data portal, which is accessible either via a web browser or optionally, the customer can host the data themselves.
One of the key safety features of the Connect system is the mandatory “pre-op” check via the connect app. On completion of the app the truck will only activate if the employee has not detected any defects during the inspection of the truck and has answered all the relevant questions. Additionally, email alerts can be set as well as the ability to attach pictures that notifies the fleet manager and documents any issues with the truck.
Warehouse managers can also access the database which tells them of any faults, maintenance requirements, damage reports and reminds them of upcoming routine checks on each truck in their fleet.
