Tilsatec’s own Rhino steel core yarn forms the base of most Tilsatec products. Developed using proprietary yarn technology on site in the UK, Rhino yarn is unique in the market place engineered to deliver the optimum in price versus performance.

As the current EN388 standard for mechanical protection is expected to be revised in 2016 and likely to incorporate EN ISO 13997 cut test data, Tilsatec are ahead of these changes and already test all level 4 and 5 products to EN ISO 13997 as standard best practice.

At this year’s Health & Safety North, Tilsatec will be showcasing the 2016 coated range of gloves, all of which provide level 5 cut resistance according to ISO13997.
