Argentic attends Health and Safety South

Argentic is a company with a focus on workplace safety and health. Attending Health and Safety South for the first time, Argentic will be introducing several new products and services to the UK.

Currently used by the shipping industry, Argentic�s Benzene Box bio-monitoring service will be introduced at Health and Safety South for use in the UK workplace.

Bio-monitoring is recognised as an additional tool for managing workplace exposure to toxic substances. Argentic�s new Benzene Box service uses a technique, developed by oil industry scientists, that measures the presence of SPMA, a specific marker for benzene.

Bio-monitoring tests can directly measure personal exposure and test results are used to demonstrate and ensure that personal protective equipment is both functioning correctly and being worn appropriately.

Also widely used in the shipping sector, Argentic�s water chlorination test system may be used to check and maintain appropriate chlorine levels in tanked drinking water supplies.

Health and Safety South sees the UK launch of Argentic�s new non-invasive drug testing system. Based on the unique �PharmChek� sweat collection patch, Argentic�s legally defensive testing system removes the need for urine or saliva sampling, which can ensure greater donor acceptance of workplace drug test programmes. 

Argentic is pleased to announce that it will also be showing products from the �Lion� range of breath alcohol testing systems. The Lion 500 breathalyser uses the same technology as the roadside testing instruments used by UK Police forces, and can deliver accurate, legally defensible, test results as required by workplace alcohol test programmes.
