Risk Assessor, released for iOS and Android in January 2015, is immediately winning praise from the health and safety sector, as well as general users of the App.

The words 'Risk Assessment' attract 60,000 Google searches every month, and for good reason - people find risk assessment difficult. It's not assessing the area for hazards and minimising risk that's difficult, it's writing the report out. This App makes it easy - simply take a photograph of the site, then drag and drop editable hazards over the gridded photo. Users can select from pre-loaded control measures or add as many of their own as they like.

The rest of the report is split down into several easy-to-read screens, where you input your specific data for the Assessment - including Project Name, Who's affected etc. Each report is fully personalised with the Company name and logo and even lets you input a choice of Risk Assessors and Key Staff.

The Risk Assessment report is generated in an easy read, PDF format which can be saved to a Homescreen on the App. It will even let you set reminder dates for follow-up assessments which sync with the calendar on your device.

Optional Upgrades
While the Free version of the App is a wonderful tool to help any business, there are a handful of optional upgrades making it even better.

- Unlimited Email Feature - send your risk assessments straight from your phone
- Edit Feature - Edit pre-created assessments as many times as you like. Useful for setting up templates, over saving follow-ups or simply correcting mistakes
- Multiple Company feature - great if you're a health and safety professional carrying out assessments for a number of different companies. Input different addresses and company logos and even have them stored on different home screens for easy navigation.
- Multiple Photos - Maybe your assessment requires more than one photograph to be included - this in app purchase will allow you to add as many reference photos as you like

Who's going to use it?
The target marked for this is every single business on the planet. Any European company employing more than 5 people has to carry out a risk assessment by law, on a regular basis. There's a similar ruling in most states of USA, not to mention the rest of the world.

Who's developed Risk Assessor?
Risk Assessor was developed by BigCreative, a design agency based just outside of Cambridge UK. Initially developed for sister division BigSignage to help with on-site assessments, the company soon realised it had come up with something that could help literally millions of businesses.

If you would like to learn more about the Risk Assessor App visit Stand D24 at The Health & Safety Event on 24-26th March 2015, NEC, Birmingham.
