S1Q 24th March: 09.00 - 10.00 Darren Harris Being Active, First Aid and Defibs in the Work Place Darren was part of the Team GB VI football team at the 2012 Paralympics, and he also represented Britain as a judoka at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. Hear Darren�s motivational vision on leading an active lifestyle. This session also includes an insight into first aid and automatic external defibrillators in the work place.

As the responsible person you must carry out and regularly review a fire risk assessment of the premises. Creating a fire risk assessment can sometimes be a difficult and daunting task. Find out some simple tips on how to help create the Perfect Fire Risk Assessment and have the opportunity to speak to the Fire Service in a Q&A session.
S3M 26th March: 09.00 - 10.00 Howard Passey BEng (Hons) Fire Engineering, MIFire E MIFSM Evacuation - Avoiding Prosecution and Understanding �competence� In a litigious world it is essential for a Health and Safety professional to be aware of the potential pitfalls in evacuation. Howard Passey Director from the Fire Protection Association, the UK�s National Fire Safety Organisation, shares key views on how to avoid prosecution and ensure the right understanding of �competence� and the responsible person.
